I am Casey Clay Hall of Austin, Texas and formerly Waco, Texas and Dawson, Texas. I have been distance running since the year 2000. I have run over 6,000 miles and participated in over 75 races. I have experience in the 5 kilometers, 10 kilometers, and half-marathon race distances. I also have track racing experience in the 400 meters, 800 meters, and 1600 meters. I ran track and cross country for Dawson High School until graduating in 2002. I participated in many Waco area road races until graduating from Baylor University in 2006. I moved to Austin in 2006 to begin my career, and so I now participate in Austin area road races. My past days of running were for athletic competition, but now I primarily run for recreation and sustained fitness. I have always been and will remain an amateur runner as I have never accepted financial compensation for my performances, not that I have ever been offered much!
